Freight Derailment Delays Milwaukee Passenger Train
A freight derailment on the C N W R R between this city and Drestburg caused the 11 10 passenger to detour via Fond du Lac to Milwaukee. Four freight cars derailed and smashed. Cause unknown but a broken flange on trucks likely caused one car to jump the tracks pulling others. No injuries. Wrecking crew cleared tracks in time for the afternoon passenger.
