Splendid Concert by White Russian Singers
A White Russian Singers concert impressed an American audience with pure tones and harmony. The program opened with church pieces and pastoral prayers, featured solos, and included lively Russian numbers like Tradi Nuka and Shishkim Bishkim. An encore presented Little Brown Dog in Russian and English, and the Shawane Mele chorus earned praise ahead of the December 10 follow-up.
