Delano Man Survives Highway 99 Crash Without Serious Injuries
Delano resident Jerry Cardenas lost control of his Ford Futura while traveling south on Highway 99 near Kimberlina Road. His car crossed the median and was struck by a big rig trailer driven by Kenneth Ross Jr. Cardenas escaped with minor injuries after wearing a seat belt. Ross was uninjured. Both drivers were not cited.

County health officials offer pregnancy urine tests counseling and prenatal information with a $2 per test fee and no Medi Cal cards accepted. Clinics in Shafter on Oct 3 and 17 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the County Building 366 Pacific St. Immunization clinics also run monthly with a $3 per shot cap of $10 per family.
