One year contract settled between RTA and RSD
The Richland Teachers Association and Richland School District ended months of negotiation with a one year contract signed last Friday. The agreement provides a six percent salary increase plus a flat amount, effective September 20 and not retroactive. The RTA dropped unfair labor practice charges with prejudice, and both sides hope for a longer term next time. The next RSD board meeting is October 7 at 7 30 p.m. in the Richland Music Building.
