Memorial rites held for late Armstrong resident
Survivors besides his widow Velma include brothers George and Henry of Shafter Abe of Tehachapi Jacob of Hepburn Saskatchewan Canada and Frankie Carrington North Dakota and sisters Mrs H J Loewen Seattle Mrs Elizabeth Goertzen Salem Oregon and Mrs Martha Fadenrecht Munich North Dakota. The American Legion conducted military rites at the grave side with interment in Shafter cemetery. Armstrong's Mortuary handled arrangements.
