Roy Root leads California Lions District 4-A2 volunteers in Operation Friendship, a multiyear effort begun in 1963 to fund build and equip schools, medical facilities, and provide materials in Ensenada. The program has raised over 500000 in supplies and 30000 in medical gear, joining with Ensenada Lions for three day trips each March, involving families and local doctors.
