Dream Fulfilled as Spanish Ministry Joins Church of Christ
In 1985 Encarnacion Chon Rodriguez and Carlos Villatoro urged the Church of Christ elders to start a Spanish ministry in the Beech Ave and Lordo Hwy area. By 1986, about 30 people gathered weekly, sharing bi lingual worship and joint activities while maintaining separate English and Spanish classes. The church celebrates unity across cultures with mixed services, meals, and Bible study, reflecting Galatians 3:26 28 and the aim that everyone is welcome.
