Mr and Mrs Don Christensen and daughter Ann return from a Alaska trip this summer traveling about a thousand miles by water and 3400 by land. They visited Sitka Skagway Juneau and Whitehorse touring glaciers railways and fishing fleets with moose halibut and wild berries noted along the way.

Power Driven Files Modernize California Highway Patrol Records
The California Highway Patrol becomes the first state agency to install power driven filing for its personnel records. A 6 by 10 by 3 foot cabinet with 16 revolving shelves allows an operator to bring any shelf into view via a button. The system, including a microfilm component, will store active records for about 8000 CHP personnel and support planned expansion.
