Richard Lee Baker died in a June 11 car wreck after his vehicle struck a Santa Fe Railway engine at the Central Ave crossing in Shafter. His widow Barbara, son Christopher, and mother Minnie Sweat file the wrongful death suit in Bakersfield Superior Court seeking 201500 in damages. a trial date will be set after Santa Fe Railway answers.
