Drug Arrests Shake Shafter Men on Meth Charges
Two Shafter men were arrested Wednesday October 20 after a vehicle was stopped at Pacific and James Streets for a traffic violation. A search found about 17 grams of methamphetamine. Abel Hipolito 26 and Angel Gutierrez 19 were booked into Kern County Jail on charges of possession, possession for sale, transportation, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
