The USDA Bakersfield Classing Office reports 11 300 samples for the week ending October 16 and a season total of 14 900 with 55 percent Middling. Office hours expanded to six days to keep up with rapid picking and ginning while last year at this time total samples reached 80 000. Grade mix shows Middling dominate with Strict Middling 7 percent and Strict Low Middling 20 percent.

Missionary Welch to Speak at Two Ivory Coast Churches
