The Coca Cola Go With Soccer Skills Contest is set for Saturday October 22 at 1 p.m. at Shafter High School practice field. Open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14 in four age groups with free registration the day of the event. Halloween parade safety notes urge cautious driving and wrapped candy only with parental supervision and flashlight if needed. Preregistration forms for parade trees are available at the Shafter Police Department and as soon as possible. Registration at the staging area runs from 7 to 7 50 p m with preregistration encouraged. Prizes will be awarded in each division per Lt Earl O Brien, Assistant Parade Chairman. RTA Holds Candlelight Demo Before Richland Board Meeting
