Chamber Panel Plans to Present Four State Proposals
A Shafter area chamber panel will explain 24 proposed constitutional amendments at a community meeting Monday night. Led by H. P. Kelly with Rob Bann as moderator, the program covers taxes, welfare exemptions, school funding, oaths of office, party ballot designations, church and college construction tax rules, and more, including a $150,000,000 bond plan and public funds restrictions.
