Shafter Generals Fall 7-6 at Delano Tigers Narrow defeat
Delano Tigers beat Shafter 7-6 after a late third quarter surge, with a missed extra point proving decisive. Shafter offense stalled early, then rallied in the second half but failed to convert two key Delano fumbles. Coach Jan Steubbe faces concern over the offense while praising a stifling defense that allowed only one touchdown in the past two games. Shafter opens South Sequoia League play at Coalinga.
