Eight Year Old Advances In Punt Pass Kick Contest
Earl Williams of Shafter won the local Punt Pass and Kick contest in Wasco and earned a spot in the Santa Barbara Zone Finals. Williams, age eight, will travel to Los Angeles next Saturday for the District Divisional Finals. Brent Bryant, age 11, also earned a local first and finished eighth in the zone. Over 90 local boys aged 8 to 13 competed at Barker Park Wasco with multiple age group prizes awarded to Wasco entrants.
