The Agee family shaped Shafter and Wasco funeral services from 1964 onward, with Evelyn Agee opening central Valley highway home and expanding to Wasco in 1966. Competition with Mish and Armstrong shaped the local trade until Peters and descendants took over, continuing a family legacy into the 1990s.
