Date Set For Annual Outlook Conference In Kern County
Kern County Board of Trade directors approved the eighth annual economic conference to be held January 13 at Stockdale Country Club. Board president Robert Marshall named Bovee director in charge and a one day session aims to give a comprehensive view of the county economy. Preliminary plans also approved for a new tourist information center beside the 99 freeway with a 20 foot spire, a revolving crown sign, and a plan to tour the Kern Plateau on October 3 led by Ardis Walker of Kernville.
