Tehachapi Warriors defeated Shafter High 14 9 Friday night after a late TD by Tehachapi capped the scoring. Tehachapi opened with a 56 yard TD run in the second quarter while Shafter kicker Roman Hernandez added a 35 yard field goal and later a 1 yard TD run in the fourth. Shafter totaled 193 rushing and passing yards to Tehachapi’s 262. Shafter heads to Delano next Friday to face the Bears.
