At the Richland School District Board meeting on November 17 three district employees received honors Gail Alvidrez Kimberlee Pederson and Frank Rodriguez for their distinct contributions. Monica Garza presented SARB attendance procedures and a public comment period on the RTA collective bargaining proposal was listed for December 8 2014.

Women serve festive Fall Dinner and Country Pantry
The Congregational Bible Church of Shaffer's Women’s Fellowship hosted its annual Fall Dinner and Country Pantry on Thursday November 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Drive thru service allowed cars to pick up meals. the event featured ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, yams, and desserts plus a back-room pantry with jams, jellies, pies, cakes, quilts, decorations, clothes, and a cookbook.
