Shafter Master Storm Drain Plan Redeveloped At $6.9 Million
Public Works Director John Guinn unveils a redeveloped seven phase master storm drain plan for Shafter costing 6.9 million dollars. The plan, requiring city county and Community Development Department funding, aims to prevent future flooding and includes phases from 1984 to 2001 with allocations among city county and CDD. Public comments are invited at 7 p.m. November 28 at Shafter City Hall.
