Toys for Tots drive urged in Shafter community
The Shafter chamber invites residents to donate new unwrapped toys or money to Toys for Tots. Drop offs and collection boxes are at local sites including The Lollar Foundation Police Department Fire Department Library and several churches. The campaign encourages gifts valued at about ten dollars to reassure needy children the Christmas magic endures.
