The Lesselli Marionettes will perform at Shafter High School Auditorium on Sunday November 17 at 2 p m. produced by Leslie and Eleanor Heath who bring a blend of humor satire beauty and drama with a long record of national venues and puppetry education. Annual Camp Fire Candy Sale Set for Kern County
Kern County Camp Fire Girls and Blue Bird groups plan their annual candy sale from November 15 to December 3. Candy will be distributed to districts on November 13 and 14, with sales beginning November 15 and money due December 4. Chairwoman Mrs. Poznoff coordinates candy pickup and deposits, while Thomas Bates notes aims to sell 45,000 boxes and offers the experience to develop poise, grooming, and responsibility in the girls.
