Shafter High School Drama stages Celeste Raspanti’s play at Starrh Performing Arts Center November 8 and 9 at 7 pm. The production follows Raja Englanderova in Terezin with Irena and a cast including Lauren Ogle, Laura Arnold, Michael Vasquez, Bianca Lencioni, Ashlynn Benson, Joey Aguirre, David Dominguez, Tracy Garcia, Hollie Barton, and Blake Henley. The event, organized by local educational and legal bodies, runs November through January with a final on January 26 and a state-qualifying outcome on March 28-30 in Riverside. The fictitious People v Palmer case centers on alleged revenge murder and Memory Mapping as evidence.
