Shafter Student Wins 1973 Dekalb Agriculture Award
David Thompson son of Mr and Mrs Jack Thompson of Shafter has been named recipient of the 1973 Dekalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award. The Shafter High School senior is recognized for scholarship leadership and his supervised farming program. He plans to attend UNM then Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
