J. Robert White of Los Angeles writes to the California Congressional Delegation protesting the postponement of a July 1 1960 tax reduction. He cites the California State Chamber of Commerce policy that these taxes should be repealed to avoid discouraging non military use of passenger facilities.
Kern County Farm Bureau Water Problems Department schedules its annual meeting on Thursday evening May 26 at 8 00 p m in the KCFB Building Bakersfield. Department chairman Allen Bottorff announces special guest E F Dibble of Redlands vice chairman of the California Farm Bureau Water Problems Department. Reports on final San Luis legislation and state to federal program status will be discussed with group recommendations. Election of department officers also on the agenda. All Farm Bureau members and others are invited.
