Letter writers rail at Carter energy budget and demand action
A pair of letters critique the 12.6 billion DOE budget under President Carter, arguing it wastes funds and harms energy development. The writers compare costs to oil production, claim poverty rises under current policy, cite Alan Reynolds, and urge citizen action to stop big government. Also a resident laments dog bites on Atkinson Street and calls for stricter enforcement of a leash law to curb vigilantism.
