Mr and Mrs Jack Addington traveled to Reno Nevada for the 8th annual Honors and Awards Convocation at the University of Nevada on May 10 at 11 a m in the gymnasium. Their daughter Mae Wolfe a junior won a scholarship for the 1972 73 term with donor Alan Ladd Johnston. A no host barbecue on the quad followed.

Male Quartet to Sing at Shafter Church Service
The Back to the Bible male quartet will perform at the Mennonite Brethren Church, 400 Kern Street, Shafter, during the 11 a.m. Sunday worship on June 3.
