Eight new hangars approved by MFAD
Directors of the Minter Field Airport District approved the purchase of eight hangars from Nunno Corporation at 94 250. The Model 1530 hangars measure 36 by 42 and a half feet with horizontal sliding doors. The roof repair for the McDonnell lease building was awarded to General Construction Company for 16 525 contingent on insurance compliance. A Minority Work Provision was adopted to ensure fair response on FAA projects. An engineer will check Van Fossen lease trusses during renovation. Mc Donnel and Nelson leases tabled to May 25 at 7 30 p.m.

School reorganization talk and election plan outlined
Henry and attorney Pete Carton described the reorganization process. Lerdo School District held a similar May 10 meeting. At a joint session, districts approved a resolution adopting a negative declaration and discussed filing an environmental impact report exemption to place the annexation on the November ballot.
