Richland Drumline wins junior high title at Kern County meet
The Richland Drumline captured first place in the Junior High Division at the Kern County Drumline Championships held April 26 at Centennial High School. The group, under instructors Tony Boschini and Cesar Carrillo with band director Don Gross, performed six minutes of Carmen selections after about 100 hours of rehearsal.
