Thinkfest to Showcase Richland Learning Across Four Sites
May 27 Thinkfest will display student work in Richland across three school buildings and Shafter Veterans Hall. Superintendent George Bury says the entire district will see the products of learning as students fill every space. Janet Johnson of the Teachers Association invites the community to view projects. The steering committee includes Alberta Watkins Jan Nelson Cynthia Silliman Don Hardcastle Ron Adams and Tom Flanagan. Refreshments will be sold by community groups. Doors open 3 30 p m and exhibits run until 9 p m.

Keeley son of Mr and Mrs Paul Keeley of Shafter recently received the John L Bradford award in science and math education at Abilene Christian University where he is a senior math education major. He is a member of the Math Club Texas State Education Association treasurer of Kappa Delta Pi and participates in Phi Eta Sigma cross country and track.

Rio Bravo Greeley Sets Kindergarten Registration
The Rio Bravo Greeley Union School District will hold kindergarten pre-registration on May 23 24 and 25 at Rio Bravo School. Eligible children must live within district boundaries and be born on or before December 2 1983. Immunization proof birth certificate and health exam are required. registration runs 2 15 to 3 30 p.m. on those days.

Richland RSD Offers Scholastic Olympiad Summer School
Richland School District will offer an academic summer program themed A Scholastic Olympiad with two sessions. Session 1 July 1 to 15 emphasizes math language arts computers science and fine arts while Session 2 July 18 to 29 focuses on competitive Olympiad events with medals for winners.
