Humboldt State College Unique to Humboldt Bay
Humboldt State College in Arcata known as the westernmost college in the United States grows as a regional liberal arts institution. Under new president Cor H. Siemens the campus plans a 15 year expansion including a library and science buildings and a wildlife and fisheries facility. The college emphasizes wildlife management and fisheries programs and surveys vocational needs of North Coast counties to tailor curricula. Located in the Red Wood Empire the campus offers hunting fishing skiing and coastal access with a 28089 volume library and a progress expansion program.
