The May 2, 2001 council meeting discussed a plan to clean alleys by free brush pickup for three months and monthly public disposal days the rest of the year. A 72 hour notice would allow fines up to 500 dollars, with renters often leaving white goods in alleys and a workshop with rental owners planned to fund the measure.
