Pacific Bell plans 3.3 million in area telecom upgrades
Pacific Bell will invest 3.3 million dollars in Shafter Wasco telecommunications upgrades this year. Paula Capozzi said the program funds a new ESS No 5ESS switch and multiple cable and facilities projects to improve service and lower costs for residents and businesses. The statewide plan totals 2.2 billion for fiber optic and advanced gear in California.
