Ninth Shafter Health Fair draws crowd and vendors
A large turnout filled the Richland Activity Center for Shafter’s ninth annual Health Fair. About 47 vendors including Kern Family Health Care and United Way offered information and freebies while families enjoyed activities, immunizations, palm scans, and bicycle safety games. The Richgrove Mariachi Group performed at 3 30 p.m. Six bicycles donated by Health Net and Kern Family Health Care were raffled along with other prizes.
