Relay For Life in Shafter Wasco Energizes City Support
Pace members took turns running laps while others rested during a 24 hour Relay For Life event spanning Saturday to Sunday. Mayors Jon Johnson and Tilo Cortez attended, with entertainment by Cassie Dunlap and her band Vowed To One. Luminaria ceremonies lit hundreds of bags as speakers shared touching cancer stories and a slide show honored fighters and the lost, leaving participants drained yet hopeful.
