Shafter will receive 19,979.03 dollars from the March 1973 local sales and use tax distribution, per State Board of Equalization member John W. Lynch. The fourth quarter 1972 and first quarter 1973 advance payments total 81,630,824 statewide, with Wasco 16,736.44, Taft 737.84, Delano 1,967.76, Arvin 16,200.68, and Kern County 361,892.29. County Local Transportation Fund gets 258,131.31.
