Blood Drive at Shafter High March 30
At Shafter High Auditorium on March 30 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. donors including SHS seniors and community members may donate blood in a Houchin drive. After donating, a pork barbecue at Shafter Veteran's Hall begins at 6 p.m. with refreshments by Shafter Lions. Restrictions: be 17 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, eat within two hours, and be free of cold or flu symptoms for three days.
