California Public Cemeteries Elect new officers at Fresno conference
Ruben Siemens, Supervisor of Kern County Cemetery District No 1, was elected vice president of the California Association of Public Cemeteries at the eighth annual conference in Fresno March 18 to 20. Attendees from tax supported cemeteries discussed records, legal obligations, insect and weed control, and insurance costs. State Senator Howard Way spoke at the banquet. Directors elected include Lesley Pitman Dinuba Roy Adreveno Ukiah and Paul Hansen El Centro. Fred Morrison Palm Springs was named president and David Muller Dixon secretary treasurer.
