Kern County Honor Music Festival Showcases Student Talent
Approximately 400 junior and middle high school musicians from multiple schools perform in Kern County's sixth annual Honor Music Festival at Rabobank Convention Center Bakersfield on March 6 at 7 30 p m. Garces High School director Scott Smith conducts the guest orchestra, with Jim Reed leading the band and Phil Witmer conducting the choir. Notable soloists include Amanda Torres Ben Coyle Mason Gonzalez April Denney Carolina Aguirre.
