Planning Commission endorses park project and relocation study
The Shafter Planning Commission met to review two items. City staff found the downtown park site via Block Grant funds would add open space and off street parking with no significant environmental impact. The commission approved filing a negative declaration and forwarded the recommendations to the City Council. It also supported Delbert Robnett’s request to relocate a residential re family building from 344 California to 251 Now Ave, finding zoning standards met and adequate setbacks and parking, and sent the report to the City Council.
