Shafter Summer Activities and Library Reopen Highlight City Events
The Shafter Branch Library reopens after remodeling on June 9 with a summer reading program from June 2 to July 26. The schedule includes Bug events, Story Times, and various presentations. The Shafter Aquatic Center opens June 20 with 50 cent admission and multiple swim sessions. Also listed are Vacation Bible School, Summer Evening Program for youths, Potato Variety Field Day, Shafter Collaborative meeting, and water safety classes for children 0-5.
