Richland School District Board Adopts Graduation Point Changes
The Richland School District board met late Monday in the Music Building. Marylee King was honored as she resigns to move to Oregon. A letter from 17 teachers questioned the point system used to determine graduation eligibility at Richland Junior High. Principal Ron Adams explained inconsistencies and the board voted to allow a makeup of points to qualify students for graduation, affecting about 19 students. The meeting covered personnel, a computer literacy program, curriculum updates, and Lerdo interdistrict plans, with a special session set for June 18 to approve bills.
