Dream Fishing Boat Benchmarking Bass Gear
A writer contrasts extreme deluxe bass boats with a modest homebuilt design. He outlines a 16 to 17 foot, eight to ten horsepower craft with safety features, dual live wells, two anchors, a depth finder, trolling motor, power trim, and flotation gear, costing about 4500 dollars versus prices rivaling 7 000 to 10 000 dollars for store bought boats. The piece mocks extravagant sponsorships and emphasizes watching the rod tip over high tech dials.
