Governor declares statewide drought and orders immediate action

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger proclaimed a statewide drought on June 4 and issued an executive order directing water resources to facilitate emergency transfers, coordinate with districts, improve efficiency, assist suppliers, expedite grants, and plan for long term water needs.
