Summer activities at Kern County Shafter Library
Judy Knox, the Shafter Branch librarian, announces free weekly children films every Tuesday at 2 pm and a series of summer programs. Highlights include Bird education, bicycle history, insect crafts, silk-screen art, cotton research talk, magic show, button making, storytime, and a pet share event through July and August at 236 James St. For details call 746-2156.
