Former Shafter Chief Greeson not indicted on drug charges
The District Attorney's office will not indict former Shafter Police Chief Greg Greeson on narcotics or drug charges due to insufficient evidence. The DA says perjury could be investigated further, and a timeline shows alcohol supplied to a 18 to 21 year old, Bonnie Gallegos, after her 18th birthday, complicating the case. Witnesses offered conflicting testimony while Beechie and Anderberg corroborated abuse claims in earlier proceedings.
