Bender Family Reunion Celebrates Sixty Years of Gatherings
The 1919 2009 Bender descendants held their annual Bakersfield reunion May 23 at Don and Kathy Lundgren’s home. August joined as a new member in Shafter. Attendees included Virginia Bender and many Lundgrens, Carters, and Merrifields. The event featured a bounce house, pinata, silly prizes, a signature sheet from four reunions, photos, potluck, and a wide red white and blue decor theme. The youngest was six months old and the oldest 89.
