The Center opened last fall and now serves 20 to 30 students daily as tutoring and after school programs co-administered by AmeriCorps and the National Farm Workers. About 13 non profit learning centers operate across the southwestern United States. Paul Charon of Apple Market received a Community Support award for Rotary service.
