Teen Challenge expands Shafter facility with new wing and grounds
Teen Challenge adds a new wing at 30170 Riverside Avenue Shafter enlarging the kitchen dining area to serve 100, expands the site to seventeen acres, and enhances facilities including a lounge a cement basketball court and an orchard. The center operates as an induction site with three month stay and re entry options. Tours are available by calling Dennis Griffith 832 4920. A tamale sale on Saturday August 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. raises funds with Paul ine Cruz assisting tamales sell for 8 per dozen at the Riverside location 746 4917.
