Local author Regina Becker releases second edition of A Bundle of Living
Long-time Shafter resident Regina Becker, 92, continues writing poetry and reflects on family history in Kern County. The second printing of her book A Bundle of Living, first published 1986 and donated to the Shafter Historical Society, includes three new poems, updates, and relocated photographs. Proceeds from the first print were set aside for a future SHS project. Copies are $9.60 and available at the Shafter Depot Museum, with orders by calling 746-1557 for Shafter delivery.
